Review by Admin:

After a summer of dismal threequels, one can be forgiven for expecting a "less than the sum of it's previous parts" follow up to The Bourne Ultimatum and Supremacy.

One needn't have worried, Paul Greengrass has delivered a blistering finale to an incredibly exciting trilogy. The frenetic pace never lets up and the skillful, mainly hand held camera work all add up to one of the best spy thrillers ever made. This series is, after all, the reason why the makers of James Bond movies had to up the ante, as it were. Matt Damon slips into the role again like a second skin, always believable and always symathetic, even when he offs the opposition so coldly.

The chase sequences are some of the most exciting I've seen in many a year, and the tension is cranked up throughout. The cat and mouse chase in Waterloo Station is outstanding and the all out urgency of the rooftop scene in Tangiers is breathtaking and agonisingly suspenseful. Joan Allen and the rest of the cast are all very praiseworthy. Always thrilling and never cliched, this is without doubt the best blockbuster of the year so far.

Unmissable.

Loads better than 'The Bourne Supremecy' and infinitely better than 'The Bored Identity'. I suppose it adds credence for the Paul Greengrass fan club. The Waterloo Station bit is very good. Some of the other bits seemed a bit too much like the previous one...especially the car chase and subsequent (not) shooting of the bad guy.
