| What kind of a name is Shia LaBeouf? And, how depressing is it to see Carrie Anne Moss looking like someones Mum!
Three things about the movie:-
(1) Its not even remotely scary - my nine year old could watch it unflustered
(2) Its a poor homage to HItchcock's Rear Window. Its closer to Fright Night (sans Vamps) and pales in comparison
(3) Even the 1998 Christopher Reeve remake of Rear Window is more suspenseful
Its a teen flick with very moderate suspense and corny gags with the odd, adolescent boob shot thrown in for good (bad) measure.
All that said. Labeouf has an endeering factor somewhere within him and the movie IS watchable...just not VERY watchable |
